Audits, Retrofits, & Renovations > United Water
This project included replacing existing High pressure sodium and metal halide fixtures with new gasketed weather and water proof T5 fixtures with mounted occupancy sensors.
In the lower levels of the waste water treatment facility, there were two problems to tackle. First, many lights are left on when no one is present. One reason they leave them on is Sodium Bisulfite, which is used to treat wastewater, will corrode metal components not meant for the area. By eliminating existing outdated fixtures in favor of fixtures that are sealed tight enough to keep baby powder out and operate with an occupancy sensor, we have solve the problems that have been facing the customer for some time.
Currently, ERMCO has completed the Pump Room, South Tunnel and Geodesic Separator Domes. These projects have been completed with incentives available through IPL's lighting incentive program.
